چکیده
For autonomy in the maritime domain, object detection is a very important task, as one needs to perceive surroundings take appropriate action decisions. A large issue and classification shortage of thorough datasets. In this work, our aim reduce problem by introducing pipeline for generation simulated data that matches target thereby achieving more reliable robust performance detector. This easily modifiable allows varying setups would be hard or dangerous collect real life. Furthermore, it enables introduction new classes without issue.

The Object Detection Efficiency in Synthetic Aperture Radar Systems
The main purpose of this paper is to develop the method of characteristic functions for calculating the detection characteristics in the case of the object surrounded by rough surfaces. This method is to be implemented in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems using optimal resolution algorithms. By applying the specified technique, the expressions have been obtained for the false alarm and cor...
متن کاملComparison of Object Detection Algorithms on Maritime Vessels
This manuscript conducts a comparison on modern object detection systems in their ability to detect multiple maritime vessel classes. Three highly scoring algorithms from the Pascal VOC Challenge, Histogram of Oriented Gradients by Dalal and Triggs, Exemplar-SVM by Malisiewicz, and Latent-SVM with Deformable Part Models by Felzenszwalb, were compared to determine performance of recognition with...
متن کاملAutomatic Maritime Surveillance with Visual Target Detection
In this paper an automatic maritime surveillance system is presented. Boat detection is performed by means of an Haar-like classifier in order to obtain robustness with respect to targets having very different size, reflections and wakes on the water surface, and apparently motionless boats anchored off the coast. Detection results are filtered over the time in order to reduce the false alarm r...
متن کاملOpen data for anomaly detection in maritime surveillance
Context Maritime Surveillance (MS) has received increased attention from a civilian perspective in recent years. Anomaly detection (AD) is one of the many techniques available for improving the safety and security in the MS domain. Maritime authorities utilize various confidential data sources for monitoring the maritime activities; however, a paradigm shift on the Internet has created new sour...
